Over the last 6 months since my last post on this blog I have been actively tracking the benefits gained from oil palm farmers using CE7 Plus. CE7 Plus is now being used by owners of oil palm plantations in Malaysia and Thailand. Every place where people apply it we are seeing the surprise and delight of farmers and managers alike. CE7 Plus is the perfect nutritional product for oil palms which feeds the tree with all the nutrients it needs to be in optimum health. Whereas benefits of trying a traditional fertilizer product may take years to truly assess, we can see the incredible benefits of using CE7 Plus in just weeks.
The first thing farmers notice is the rapid development in the health of the trees where CE7 Plus is applied. The new spears thrust out of the top of the tree are healthy green, and can even be seen to come out 2 or 4 at a time! This vitality is then quickly visible elsewhere in the tree. Of course, we all know that more spears means more fruit bunches.
Many times palms that have produced only male inflorescence start to produce female flowers within just 15-45 days. The most dramatic illustration of this was at a small plantation I visited in Thailand with just 328 trees. After 5 years only a handful of these trees had borne fruit. The rest seemed to be barren. After applying CE7 Plus to the trees we saw 250 of the trees became fruitful! Needless to say the owner was delighted. He is now able to harvest his trees every 15 days, and provide for himself a good living. Of the other 80 trees, it appears they are a bad species and will need to be replaced.
Another key benefit from using CE7 Plus regularly is that the size of fresh fruit bunches are seen to increase significantly. A farmer I have spoken with at another plantation in southern Thailand who has been using CE7 Plus reports seeing FFB's increase to 80kg and more. Personally I have not seen such a big fruit bunch, but we are regularly seeing bunches of 40kg and more.
